About VERSOLLY
VERSOLLY is an independent digital publication about fashion and the culture around it. The name plays on verso — in publishing, the back of a printed page: the side you see once you turn it over. That is our job.

VERSOLLY is a small editorial team of fashion, beauty, culture and commerce editors. We write under our own names, and every story is edited by a second person before it is published. You can read about each of us on the editors page.
The publication is owned and operated by [Publisher legal name], [Registered address]. Editorial decisions are made by the editors alone.
Fashion media is loud. Much of it is designed to be scrolled past. We want to make something worth reading slowly: reporting and criticism that takes clothes seriously as design, as culture and as part of everyday life — without taking itself too seriously.
We would rather publish one considered story than five quick ones.
Readers who care how things are made and why they matter: people who follow the collections, people who just want to get dressed well, and everyone in between. We assume intelligence and curiosity, not a particular budget.
VERSOLLY is free to read. We plan to fund it through affiliate commissions on some product links, clearly labelled advertising and, in future, clearly labelled partner content. None of these determine what we write about or what we recommend.
Brands cannot buy coverage or a place in a shopping guide. Sponsored content, if we publish any, will always be labelled “Sponsored” or “Partner Content”. Read our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure for the details.
